This an educational landscape project for Besant Hill School of Happy Valley in Ojai, California. This project is trying to create deep connection between youth and the natural world. The ecological conditions on site are used as the tools to develop outdoor activities which can encourage students’ interests, thus to avoid natural deficit disorder. The water circulation system established on site are used to prepare the site for future extreme weather and also to provide open space for public activities.
