As the agricultural industry continues to increase its output, so will the quantity of the agricultural waste we produce. Although lots of policies and technologies have been developed to address this challenge of increasing agricultural waste, techniques remain unsatisfactory especially for the impact on the environment and human health. What if what we see as waste today could actually become an alternative resource that enriches and heals the land? How can a landscape system be designed to exploit and expand the potentials of agricultural waste and ultimately arrive at a significant reduction in what can be considered waste?
