Catalina Island in USC Campus

A project should show considerations of greater territories that include its geology and history. This project takes the site as an urban depression with mountainous farmland as its sources from Catalina Island. In my vision, I imagine this plaza to be somewhere with a high amount of circulation but also have some resting areas defined by spaces. People may find the plants are slightly different with other parts of USC's campus and hopefully the ecological ideas behind this would be informative.
