The scheme is a strategy for projected sea level rise in 100 years in the Ballona Wetlands, Los Angeles. The big concept is providing a stepping stone in the coastal ecosystem of California and connecting as many different habitats as possible in the site to create a whole ecosystem. By changing the hydrology and topography, we can connect and improve the Ballona Wetlands, dunes and beaches to provide more different habitats.
