My project increases equitable access to play in Canoga Park through the rejuvenation of already existent, underused spaces. I work with community members to implement small-scale design-build projects and strategies from the ground up. This work occurs at a scale small enough to be implemented quickly and to be distributed evenly. The participatory and rolling nature of each strategy makes the plan as a whole very time-based by nature. Therefore, as kids grow up, as plants get replaced, as murals change, the particularliness of each place will evolve as well.
