This rehabilitation center promotes health and wellness through connection to nature. Clinics for patients and exercise rooms for the healthy are similarly unified in a shaded indoor-outdoor atrium space where green landscape "spills in" from adjacent Barnsdall Park. This design aims to destress visitors and move away from historically negative, sterile, and institutional images of medical centers.
