USC Architecture encourages undergraduate and graduate students to engage in cutting-edge, professional research with faculty advisors in their course of studies. In addition, students at USC School of Architecture are encouraged to apply for two annual student-focused research and creative work grants: Student Travel Grants and Student Research Grants. Student Travel Grants support undergraduate and graduate students presenting their research at professional meetings, such as conferences. The Student Research Grant program provides funding to support students working with faculty advisors on semester- or year-long research projects while enhancing students’ research development and activities. Research funding is available to full-time USC Architecture students for their research expenses, including research materials and travel to professional meetings or conferences to present research outcomes.
