    We are hiring a Construction Project Manager with Strong Basic CAD Skills As a startup, the role comes with a ****broad array of duties****, including managing build-outs and construction of new projects, vendor management, budget creation, and layout and design of future Haven Coliving locations. This role will also support build efforts with project management and budget input. We aim to have this role filled within one month, as the need is urgent, though we will happily wait for a great candidate who owes 2 weeks notice to a prior employer. Annual pay is $50,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience, with lots of upside as we grow.

    Haven is building intentional communities with a focus on health, wellness, mindfulness and kindness. We operate membership-based living communities that function as a residential wellness retreat, with amazing new friendships to be made, all at a highly affordable rate, made possible by bringing Asian-style density to US coastal cities (right now, we focus in LA). We currently have 96 Members.

    3+ Years of construction project management experience is required.

    Experience with AutoCAD is required, contractor’s license preferred.

     I have a 1920 craftsman in Long Beach. Ideal candidate would be a 3rd or 4th year student or graduate student that can design a second story on my 1100 sq ft house. Current house has 2 bedrooms on raised foundation and I would like to add 2 bedrooms onto a second floor. I am open to modern interpretations and esthetics for the addition. This would be a fun project that would take about a year to completion. I believe this would be a great way to earn credit for your courses as well as get first hand knowledge of a full start to finish residential project. This addition would also require a working relationship with your engineering department.


    Grad student currently enrolled or a 3/4th year undergrad with ability to design plans and work with the city of Long Beach building department.
