Ismael Soto is a designer with 8+ years of experience in all phases. Living in the US, UK, Austria, Netherlands, and Denmark has deeply informed his placemaking perspective. He has worked with multiple internationally renowned practices including UNStudio and Zaha Hadid Architects; expanding his approach to concept design and leading the development of complex large-scale projects. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Master of Architecture II from UCLA. His academic work regarding motion in architecture developed under Greg Lynn has been exhibited internationally by the Vitra Design Museum. He has held teaching positions at UCLA, Cal Poly, and at the AA Visiting School. Currently, he is based in Los Angeles and combines teaching with professional practice.
