05/13/19 M.Arch Students Recognized at AIA|LA 2x8:Exchange Competition

USC M.Arch students Ban Sheni, Dixon Wong, and Fabian Dietrich represented the School of Architecture in the 2019 AIA|LA 2x8:Exchange competition earlier this week. The AIA|LA 2x8 Student Competition, Exhibition and Scholarship Program annually showcases exemplary student work from as many as 16 architecture and design institutions throughout California.

Ban Sheni and Fabian Dietrich received a Citation Award and $1,000 scholarship for their project 4300 Degnan. The two presented their design for the middle-rise, high-density housing project alongside an accompanying short graphic novel, which the jury commended for the depth of study it conveyed. There were three possible awards: Honor, Citation, and Honorable Mention.
