Architect – Make an Unusual Rapid Leap Forward in Your Career
    Odulair
    Full-time

    Description

We are seeking a top-notch architect in our Santa Barbara office, either just completing their BS degree in architecture, or a few years out of architectural school. Are you frustrated by not having the full responsibility for every design phase, beginning to end? Do you wish you had more client involvement and influence? Are you a little bored, perhaps feeling like you’re under-utilized? Do you wonder why you’re being given menial tasks on projects with the answer that you just need to first “PUT IN YOUR TIME?” If you answered YES to any of these questions, this might be that next opportunity which moves your career forward and checks off many of the elements in your dream job. It's not every day that you have the opportunity to lead a major paradigm shift within an industry as a key evangelist, and then get to implement it! You'll have a chance to make an impact, a chance to grow, and a chance to maximize your income if you’re the type of individual who is passionate about bringing revolutionary new design approaches to our market.

At Odulair, we turn dreams into reality. We do that by pushing the limits of what’s possible. We achieve the unimaginable, every day. We build mobile and modular healthcare facilities, many of which are “world’s first” products, so that people who have no access to healthcare, now can. These facilities are centered around primary care, and specialty medical services like surgical instrument sterilization, compounding pharmacies, dialysis, outpatient surgery, emergency rooms, and more. They are becoming the hottest and fastest growing segment of medical facility construction.

We’re seeking an architect passionate about the future, visionary about being at the leading edge of a shift in building medical care facilities, someone who is UNWILLING to simply “put their time in” with a traditional architectural firm before being granted the responsibility for significant scope and impact, and finally, someone who feels they are bursting to demonstrate their creativity. We want an architect who passionately wants to be at the center of an architectural revolution. On a variety of different projects, you’ll get to lead the design process for us, you’ll be intimately involved with our customers – major healthcare companies, and vendors of highly sophisticated hospital equipment. You’ll become one of our chief technical evangelists, leading to a role that establishes you as one of the world-wide experts on the application of this new trend for mobile healthcare facilities.

    Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will be a Licensed Architect. You’ll have had hands-on experience and feel comfortable doing design work within Revit as well as Project Management. If you’ve recently graduated from architectural school, you’ll have had great experiences with multiple internships. If you’ve got a few years of experience post-architectural school, you will have a few great stories to tell about your initiative, creativity, and impact. Our ideal candidate will have worked on some medical facility projects. Although our initial focus is to find someone already experienced with medical facilities, we’re willing to train a fast-learner.
