Susan Fleiss Lecturer

Susan Fleiss currently works for NBD Architects as well as runs her own practice. She moved to Los Angeles in 1999 and went to work for Richard Meier.  She worked on several projects including the Crystal Cathedral Hospitality Center and the San Jose Civic Center.  Before moving to Los Angeles, Susan spent a year in Charleston, South Carolina restoring and researching some of America’s oldest homes.  Susan’s most recent research focuses on developing an atmospheric ‘poche’ for the seemingly illimitable spaces that dominate our every day experiences.  For her work at Princeton, she received the Henry Adams AIA Medal.  Susan has been teaching at the University of Southern California since the spring of 2004.
