Professor Buckingham established the firm Techentin Buckingham Architecture (TBA) in 2000 with his partner Warren Techentin.  Current projects include a kindergarten building in South Los Angeles, a nursery school in Eagle Rock, several residential projects. Previously, Henry worked for Hodgetts + Fung Design Associates where he was involved in a number of projects including a television broadcast studio. He was also employed at Holt Hinshaw Pfau Jones, where he was involved primarily in the design of the power plant for the University of California, Los Angeles campus.
