Professor Bittoni is a founding principal of thedesignlab, a multidisciplinary design house. Current active projects include both single and multifamily housing. Prior to pursuing his own practice he was with the Santa Monica based office of Moore Ruble Yudell.  There he served as a Project Designer on, among other projects, the Caymana Master Plan in Grand Cayman, and the Congregation Beth El in Berkeley, California.  In addition to teaching at USC, Mark serves as a frequent guest critic at Ohio State University.
