David Gray is the owner of the firm David Lawrence Gray Architects AIA, which has been in business in Los Angeles since 1979. The firm has a diversified portfolio of built architecture ranging from mid-rise medical office buildings to high-rise historic hotel restorations. Mr. Gray is renown for his work in concrete and steel and their firm has many custom residential buildings built on the Oceanfront. He is at present deeply involved in the adaptive reuse and restoration of historic structures in downtown Los Angeles. He has been a faculty member of the University of Southern California School of Architecture since 1973. The largest of his projects is the 7 building 16-acre retail center in Culver City called Costco Plaza. He is also the owner of the Flatiron Development Co. LLC.
