Janek Tabencki Dombrowa is a principal of JTD Architects, with projects in California, Oregon, Ohio and Texas. The focus of the firm has been the development of elemental typologies and their impacts on building tectonics, urban sustainability and reconstitution of existing resources. Previously,Professor Dombrowa worked with Architectural Collective, EOM Architects and Anshen+Allen. He has been involved in many award-winning projects and major competitions and has received recognition from Progressive Architecture and the American Institute of Architects. He is currently involved in several major redevelopment projects in Los Angeles. He has lectured as an assistant professor at Otis Parsons and SCI-Arc and as a visiting critic at the University of Arizona, and Texas A & M.
