A practicing structural engineer for over 30 years and licensed in the U.S. and abroad, Professor Guh has designed numerous commercial, institutional, healthcare and transportation facilities, involving both new construction and structural retrofit. Using both analytical and experimental methods, his research interest is in the seismic behavior of building structures and development of innovative structural technologies for wind and seismic resistance. A principal of the engineering firm WSP Cantor Seinuk, Dr. Guh heads its California operations. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC) and Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI).
