  RESEARCH summary
title:
Convertion tables to SI units
The International System of Units has become the dominant science language. Abbreviated SI (from the French Le Système International d'Unités).The SI was established in 1960 by the 11th General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM). The current U.S. delegate to the CGPM is the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The United States has been increasing its use of SI, and it has accelerated in the past three decades.

The scope of the research is to set up in SI units all the structures lectures of Professor Goetz Schierle. The purpose and most important goal of this project is exposure: future lessons will provide students with a chance to become familiar with the international metric system.

After completing the lectures, students will be able to: identify and apply the basic units and prefix using the International System. It is important that students are exposed to the vocabulary of the SI system and learn how to analyze structures and organize ideas and goals in the same language as professionals and scientists around the world.

The completion includes:
· Preparation of SI unit slide
· Unit conversion
· Drawings in SI units (as required)
· All symbols must be clearly identified to avoid confusion in typesetting

Programs used:
· Auto-Cad
· Power point
· Adobe Photoshop
· Conversion tables to SI units, provided by Professor Schierle.
