Road
Trip: Multi-media Photography Presentation/Exhibition/Publication
|
|
| This
photographic presentation features a series of pictures taken during a driving
trip across the country - from Los Angeles to the East Coast, and back again.
Kim Coleman embarked on this journey with the aim to photograph what she
viewed from her car window once each hour while on the road. The result
is a surprising visual journey across the U.S. capturing many themes extending
beyond architecture (landscape, hardscape, light, and color to name just
a few). My contribution to this project rested in the hi-res scanning of each of the images from original negatives, and then composing a digital slide presentation of the entire sequence. This study is planned for projection, exhibition and publication in hard copy format, and for web publication; therefore, the early integration of tecniques to facilitate the use of multi-media applications was an integral part of my approach. |
