  RESEARCH summary 
title:
 Historic Preservation Program Strategic Planning
  In the 04-05 school year I researched various ideas to enhance the USC Historic Preservation administration and program offerings for graduate students. My research was reviewed by Ken Breisch and Dottie O'Carroll, USC Director of Development at the School of Architecture.

The researched included:

1) looking at the development of a formal advisory committee for the Historic     Preservation academic program and what such a group could be expected     to provide to support the program
2) searching for potential businesses, government agencies and private     institutions (whose work contains preservation projects) that could be     approached about providing graduate student internships
3) searching for generous individuals of some means, who could sponsors an     internship

I also researched resources for the graduate and summer Historic Preservation program promotion, visiting lecturers, travel fellowships and study abroad tours.
