Will transportation be provided to and from the airport?
Students coming from out of the area should plan on flying into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Sunday, July 6th between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm.  Ground transportation will be available to and from LAX for a nominal fee.  A USC Staff member will meet the students at the Baggage Claim Area holding signs and wearing a USC polo shirt.

Are local students allowed to commute to the program?
All students are required to live on campus and experience college residential life while participating in the program.

Are activities scheduled for the weekends?
Saturdays and Sundays are reserved for recreational activities.

Are students allowed off campus during the program?
Students will take part in organized and chaperoned tours/field trips of the Los Angeles area.  Otherwise, students are not allowed off campus at any time.  An absence from the campus for periods of time that include classes or functions must be approved in writing by the Director of Youth Programs 72 hours prior to the absence via email or fax.

What are the living arrangements?
Students will be paired with one other student of the same gender and assigned a room in a University Residence Hall.

What do the costs cover?
This fee covers tuition, room and board, meals, field trips, and most recreation.  Lab Fees (includes supply kit) and Health Fees are separate costs.

What are the age requirements for the program?
The 2 week program is open to students age 15-18 (you must be age 15 by December 1, 2008).  The 4 week program is open to high school students who will be a junior or senior in the 2008-09 school year.
