Ruth Wallach Librarian
Ruth Wallach works on building the library's collections in Architecture, Art History, and Fine Arts, teaches classes on research methods and library use, and provides help to anyone with a research question. Ruth is also a collection development librarian for the Doheny Memorial Library in the disciplines of Slavic Languages and Literatures, Comparative Literatures, East European History, and Gender Studies. She maintains a unique web site of information on public art in Los Angeles, and on Women's Literary Salons in New York in the 1970s. She is a member of the University Library Faculty, and her research is in the areas of library public services and in public art as a narrative layer of urbanity.
