Mentor Program

Since 1993 the Architectural Guild Mentor Program has paired students with professionals in the field of architecture in order to promote the academic, social, and career development of School of Architecture students, and to foster an association between education and the industry.

The Mentor Program provides students with an opportunity to learn about the profession and to meet mentors outside of the classroom who can provide guidance, share personal and professional experiences, and serve as role models. Students can seek advice and guidance from their mentors about the direction they would like to take in their profession or seek assistance with resumes, cover letters, and portfolio preparation.  Professionals in turn benefit from interaction with up-and-coming designers and also enjoy the rewards of helping others benefit from their experience.
